Draper Helping to Keep Animals Warm This Winter

Dogs and cats at shelters in Massachusetts will be a little warmer during the holidays thanks to the donation of warm fabric and the generosity of the Draper Knitting Company. The textile manufacturer has donated almost $25,000 worth of fabric to shelters, and the fabric is being used as blankets, dog coats, comforters and animal beds. Shelters whose animals are staying warm and toasty during the holidays thanks to Draper are the Buddy Dog Humane Society, Northeast Animal Shelter, Greyhound Friends Inc., Purr-fect Cat Shelter, Animal Shelter, Inc., Stray Pets in Need, Paw Safe, Winslow Animal Farm Awareness, Inc. and Save a Dog. “It has been a blessing to be able to donate fabirc, but an even bigger blessing to hear that the shelters are using it to make a difference for dogs and cats that are waiting to be adopted,” said Kat Wojtylak, Product Manager for Draper Therapies.
